Board hears Title IX concerns as wrestling and facility use expand

"There’s been rumblings of other school districts having Title IX issues because they're all together," a board member said, noting that new auxiliary spaces could help separate activities. Staff responded that alternate schedules and partnering with other districts were viable ways to address access and compliance while the district phases construction and adapts schedules.
Trustees asked staff to consider operational and schedule adjustments alongside facility planning so the district can provide equitable access to athletic programs while avoiding compliance conflicts.
