Sheriff Brian Dean reported to the commission that the county met its anticipated federal prisoner revenue of $1,139,698.81 for the 2025 calendar year. Dean said the U.S. Marshals Service contract was signed Jan. 7, 2026 and is scheduled to take effect on Feb. 1, 2026.
"Dean thanked the Commission for their support and trust during this process," the minutes state, and he credited staff for compiling application data. The minutes record that the sheriff thanked Jamie Pesicka Olson for compiling data used in the application process.
