Lancaster County Children and Youth told it will be audited by Bureau of Audits on Title 55 compliance

Lancaster County’s Children and Youth Agency was notified it will participate in an audit by the Office of Budget/Bureau of Audits (BOA) that will review Title 55 regulations governing human services, Executive Director Crystal Natan told the Citizens' Advisory Committee on May 19. "BOA will be auditing selected Children and Youth Agencies—4 in total," the minutes record.
Natan said auditors did not provide a specific reason for Lancaster's selection and that BOA is not a covered entity with authority to access CPSL case files unless confidentiality arrangements are clarified. Solicitor Jacquelyn Pfursich told the board the agency must cooperate "as long as we receive a letter explaining the specifics of the audit," according to the meeting record. Natan said the audit could be time-consuming for directors and supervisors and estimated it would take roughly six months to complete.
