DA office manager Rebecca Bruno described the service as “designed for law enforcement for the collection and analyzing digital evidence.” In the minutes DA Acker is recorded saying the product “was developed for Israeli military intelligence” and characterizing it as “state of the art software that is used in investigations with great success.” The minutes record no dissent on the expenditure; the resolution passed with a unanimous vote by the commissioners.
