Jefferson County sets election-worker pay, opens LNA testing to the public and reiterates registration deadlines

The county clerk (S5) announced poll-worker training at Ford Park next Thursday and said the Logic and Accuracy (LNA) testing for election equipment will be held the following day at 9:00 a.m., inviting the public to attend: “For those that question the accuracy of our equipment or the process, you're welcome to show up and visit with us.” Officials clarified the last day to register to vote for the March 3 election is Monday, Feb. 2; the clerk and Judge noted the deadline refers to the election date, not the start of early voting.
