The court approved early voting dates, times and locations and designated the Logan County Elections Office at 1308 Crickets Avenue, Logan, Texas, as the main early voting site. Commissioners also approved Ronnie Gallagher as judge and Beth Shapiro as alternate for the early voting ballot board. For central county station operations, the court approved Roxanne Stinson as central county station manager, Aaron Cruz as tabulation supervisor and Beth Bender as assistant tabulation supervisor, citing provisions of the Texas Election Code. "Motion by commissioner Dolby, 2nd by commissioner Corley to approve the early voting dates, times, and locations for the joint runoff election, May 26," the chair noted as the court voted.
The court set dates and times for provisional ballot curing for voters lacking an acceptable photo ID and discussed deadlines and delivery rules for mail ballot applications (applications must be submitted to the elections office by the stated deadline and may only be delivered in person by the voter). These items were approved by motion and voice vote; no disagreement was recorded.
