Commissioners move $281,720 to COVID Cares fund and approve multiple departmental transfers

The consent agenda was moved by Kenneth Jeffrey and seconded by Tim Sprinkle; the minutes record the motion as carried with Commissioners Tim Sprinkle, Kermit Kennedy, Tom Berry and Kenneth Jeffrey voting in favor.
The consent agenda also recorded several 2025 departmental transfers: a $50.00 transfer for the County Attorney from Capital Outlay to Office Supplies to cover ink cartridges; District Attorney reclassifications to cover a Vibe Board and year-end expenses; and multiple County Jail transfers to cover inmate medical care, uniforms, repairs and radio issues. A Sheriff Department transfer of $2,272.50 from deputies’ salaries to capital outlay was approved to purchase equipment for new patrol units.
