Commissioners approve $405,000 proposal and change order for Angelina County Jail addition

Jail-related budget transfers to cover inmate medical care, uniforms, radio repairs and related needs were included on the consent agenda earlier in the meeting. The approvals together advance the county’s plan for the jail expansion; further procurement and construction steps were not specified in the meeting minutes.
