Commissioners approve multiple road and bridge bid awards, including McMahon low bid

For the County Road 4031 bridge project staff said they received three bids and that McMahon submitted the lowest responsive bid; staff estimated the contractor would complete the work in about 90 days. For the County Road 436 work staff read scouring and new-bridge figures into the record (the transcript records the scouring figure as "76 to $3.12" and the new-bridge as "$306.46" as spoken in the meeting); staff recommended moving forward with awarding the projects.
The court approved the awards. Staff and commissioners stated the projects had been discussed in prior weeks and the awards will allow procurement and construction to proceed.
