The Commissioners Court approved a primary plat for 'Orange Wood,' a roughly 15.5-acre subdivision in Precinct 4, during its May 5 meeting.
Development services staff told the court the applicant proposes subdividing the parcel into 12 lots, each exceeding one acre, and that approval of the primary plat allows the county to begin the next phase: an in-depth construction plan review for grading and drainage. "This is about 15 and 0.5 acres and the applicant is subdividing into 12 lots each over an acre," the presenter said on the record.
Commissioner Moore moved to approve the plat; Commissioner Lane seconded and the court voted 'aye.' The approval permits staff to proceed with construction-review steps required before issuing permits for the individual lots.
