Casey Morris brought the proposed solid waste and recycling fee schedule for fiscal year 2026 and told the court the city would match the county’s solid-waste fee in the shared service area. The judge asked for a motion and the court approved the schedule by voice vote.
"City is gonna match us for the Kaufman solid waste," Casey Morris said when presenting the request; commissioners moved and seconded the approval without further questions. The change takes effect for the upcoming fiscal year as the county updates its fee structure.
