Dr. Mitchell Mudra said the company provides inpatient hemodialysis (three nephrologists on staff), respiratory therapy and tracheostomy/ventilator weaning. "We have our open armistice machines now...The whole hospital team is getting trained," he told the board, describing recent technology and training investments.
When asked whether any of the firm's hospitals have ICUs, presenters said they do not operate ICUs at the managed critical-access hospitals and would instead evaluate which departments a local facility can viably support. They said surgical expansion is possible but will be determined by business case, staffing availability and facility constraints.
