Local historian urges county to mark 500th anniversary of Cabeza de Vaca landing in Brazoria County

"I'm David Carson," he said, and offered to "draft you a resolution that you could adopt at one of your meetings" and to serve as a resource, provide maps and photographs. The court thanked him for sharing his knowledge; no formal action or funding was requested or taken at the meeting.
