During his report, Superintendent Mike said the district is working with the Oregon data suite to identify key performance indicators and to track goals on student achievement, staff performance and community relations. "I've been meeting with principals and APs... understanding their passion for the work," he said, and noted administrators will work through a 'hundred day leader' book this fall.
He told the board the district must establish an equity, diversity and inclusion committee under what he referred to as 'senate bill 7 32' and that the board will finalize committee membership after applicants are identified. The superintendent also said the district will update its Division 22 accountability report and bring drafts to the board before public release.
