Board members asked for clarifications on how police payroll accounts were labeled and whether overtime requests related to specific events. Kimmy replied that PD administration accounts cover the chief and command staff while PD operations cover patrol officers, dispatchers and sergeants, and that the $65,000 overtime request was largely tied to snowstorms and recent summer storms.
A board member moved and another seconded the authorization; the motion passed in a recorded vote in the public session.
