The Bakersfield Select Board on March 23 approved the nomination of Sam Keeper to serve on the town planning commission and the development review board (DRB). A board member moved to nominate Sam Keeper; the motion was seconded and, when called for a voice vote, the chair said, "All those in favor of adding Sam Keeper to the planning commission and the DRB, signify by saying aye," and members responded in the affirmative.
Acting Chair thanked the new appointee and welcomed him: "Thank you very much for volunteering," the chair said. No formal dissent or abstention was recorded; the board asked the clerk to notify Sam Keeper and to provide onboarding information for the commissions.
