"We received 1 response and recommend awarding Midland‑Petro D.C. for a 3‑year term, 25% royalty, and a bonus of $50,250.00," Engeldahl told the court. Commissioners voted to approve the award as presented. The minutes record the motion to approve the award and the court’s vote.
The award will be administered through county procurement and the county’s oil‑and‑gas leasing practices; the county will execute documents and record the lease per normal procedures. The court’s action was taken following Purchasing’s open solicitation and its recommendation to accept the single responsive proposal.
