District administrators announced that the district received a competitive three‑year summer learning grant and confirmed the summer food service schedule from June 15 through August 13.
Chair (S1) said the grant will fund 80 hours of instruction for all grade levels focused on literacy at early grades and credit recovery at the high school. The district intends to provide expanded programming over the next three summers and highlighted activities such as Wildlife Safari and other enrichment offerings supported by the grant funding. The chair also noted expected participation numbers and said staff will report updated enrollment for summer programming when available.
On meals, staff confirmed meal service sites and dates for the June–August window and said the program will align with extended‑school opportunities funded by the grant.
