The Citizens' Advisory Committee was told Feb. 18 that Kara Davis has "officially taken over as Director of Intake," a management change the executive director described as part of broader staffing adjustments. Davis told the board she has "a great team, and she’ll try her best to keep on track," and the agency is providing transition support.
Director Crystal Natan announced that long-time staff member Betsy Frame plans to retire in May 2025; interviews are scheduled this week to allow training overlap with Frame before her retirement. Natan also reported that three CYA solicitors have left since the last meeting, a turnover she characterized as disruptive to operations and one the agency continues to address.
