The planning commission approved a final plat that will divide the David Band property (a 5.53-acre parcel at 500 Gibbs Lane) into three lots, allowing the record owner and applicant to create two additional lots. Jim Carpenter, staff planner, told the commission the site is one of the few remaining areas served by septic and that the applicant requested side Public Utility Easements (PUEs) rather than Public Utility and Drainage Easements (PUDEs).
Carpenter recommended approval of Resolution 2026-088 with four conditions; engineering staff said they had no comments. Applicant David Band, who said he lives at 1250 Walker Road in Goodlettsville, said, "All we're asking for is a PUE on each side instead of a PUDE," and indicated the PUDEs would remain on the front and rear of each lot. A motion to approve passed on a voice vote.
