Sherry Tucker, who said she lives at 450 Gibbs Lane, urged the commission to consider drainage and septic impacts from a proposed small subdivision at 500 Gibbs Lane that would create three rental homes served by septic systems. "There’s a pond behind the house that washes out our driveway every time it rains," she said. "I'm just concerned about that."
Her comments were made during the public comment period for agenda-related items. Staff and applicants acknowledged the septic area on the parcel; the applicant's representative said the septic systems are planned for the front of the lots and that the project will retain green space. Engineering staff said they had no comments on the proposal at this meeting, and commissioners noted the area is one of the few in the city still on septic.
