CSB to draft letter raising county transportation concerns; free Orange Transit service announced

The Community Services Board agreed to draft a letter to Commissioner Lacey Trimble outlining specific concerns about transportation across Orange County. Nora Shepard asked members to email concerns to Executive Assistant Regina LaCatena by Oct. 18; Regina will compile input and Nora will draft the letter for board review at the Nov. 13 meeting.
Trimble noted that Orange Transit is offering free public transportation in Newburgh and Middletown through the end of December and that schedules are available on the county website orangecountygov.com.
