During general questions, a committee member requested adding a study of a Croton Point Park pool to this year’s capital plan, saying many residents have asked for an update. The committee member asked that the request be on the record and noted residents’ ongoing interest.
Acting Commissioner Peter Tartaglia said staff plan to study the pool alongside potential improvements for a cricket pitch in the park, describing the two studies as a combined design effort to determine feasibility. "We want us to put those 2 together, into some design of bond to... study and find out what is feasible," Tartaglia said, and he told the committee the proposal is on the board’s radar though exact timing of a study release was not specified.
