Board members Jocelyn, Dan and Thea will meet with the artists to discuss the community engagement plan and the Board expressed a desire to include all Summit County students in naming contests for the sculptures, potentially using digital campaigns, polls or surveys to gather input.
The board asked staff and artists to consider outreach strategies that reach students countywide and to report back on how design and naming inputs will be incorporated into final fabrications and installation timelines.
