County and Park City public art boards to hold regional roundtable Feb. 21

Consultants from Designing Local will lead a Feb. 21 Public Art and Creative Placemaking Roundtable to bring Summit County and Park City public art boards together for asset mapping, priority setting and regional coordination; no votes will be taken.
Designing Local co‑founder Amanda Golden told the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board on Feb. 4 that consultants will host a Public Art and Creative Placemaking Roundtable on Feb. 21 from 9:30–11 a.m. in the Richins Building Large Auditorium to bring together SCPAAB and the Park City Public Art Advisory Board for a regional discussion of priorities, asset mapping and future collaborations. Jocelyn will facilitate and Amanda will lead the discussion; the session is intended as engagement and not a decision meeting, and no votes will be agendized.
Board members were told this will be the first joint meeting of the two boards since 2018 and that the event will be advertised as a public meeting in case attendance creates a quorum. Thea and staff will circulate calendar invites to SCPAAB members and to invited Silver Creek representatives. Amanda and Jocelyn will capture notes; Thea will summarize them for the March meeting minutes.
