"They're projected to bring us ... increasing our cash per transport from $7.38 to $7.75," an EMS presenter said, arguing the new vendor could raise net collections and reduce separate cost‑reporting fees. Commissioners asked for more detail and asked staff to include the vendor change on a future agenda so the court can evaluate the vendor contract terms and expected financial impact.
