The Pratt County Board of Commissioners approved a 3% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for all unelected county employees.
Committee member (S3) moved to grant the increase, the motion was seconded by Chair (S2) and passed on a 3-0 voice vote. Commissioners instructed payroll and department heads to distribute the adjustment by department, and staff indicated the county will process COLA calculations in department-grouped increments.
The approval followed separate executive-session discussions earlier in the meeting. The county will publish implementation guidance for department heads and post any fiscal notes to the public payroll record when available.
