Commissioners instructed payroll and department heads to distribute the adjustment by department, and staff indicated the county will process COLA calculations in department-grouped increments.
The approval followed separate executive-session discussions earlier in the meeting. The county will publish implementation guidance for department heads and post any fiscal notes to the public payroll record when available.
