At the Jan. 5 meeting, Mr. Jayne moved that the committee enter executive session to discuss a public safety matter with a defined set of attendees: committee members, other legislators present, the Commissioner of Social Services, the Public Safety Officer, and the County Administrator. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lawson and carried by a unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
The committee recorded no further public actions during the open session after approving the motion; minutes were submitted by Emilee Miller, Yates County Clerk of the Legislature.
