"We have been working on a lease with Unity ... to expand the opportunity for clinic use to former and retired employees for the county," the attorney told commissioners, noting the agreement runs for two years with an option to extend. Commissioners moved to approve the lease as written and proposed and the motion carried by a voice vote.
The attorney said the arrangement preserves current days for county and city employees (roughly three to three-and-a-half days) and uses off days for the expanded access. No specific financial terms were announced at the meeting; commissioners were invited to review the written lease.
