Probation staff asked the Public Safety & Corrections Committee to accept three 2025-2026 grants totaling $668,499.70. Craig Pomplas requested acceptance of the Ignition Interlock Device Monitoring Grant for $17,321.70, the Pretrial Services Grant for $334,001 and the Probation Block Grant for $317,177.
The committee approved each award by unanimous vote (3-0). The Pretrial Services Grant was described in the meeting as a "significant increase" from the previous year. Motions were made and seconded by committee members Scott J. Van Etten and Joseph Tobia in alternating order as recorded.
