Social Services: childcare assistance allocation rose in 2025, statewide funding fluctuations noted

By contrast, Miller said 2024 allocation figures were $688,830 serving 134 children in 89 families, and earlier years were lower still.
Miller framed the figures as evidence of both funding fluctuation and growing local utilization; committee members accepted the report as information and did not object to forwarding related appointments and contract items to the Legislative Meeting.
