Charles City County Wetlands/Chesapeake Bay Board: minutes approved, new pool application announced, maps requested

At the Oct. 7, 2024 meeting the Wetlands and Chesapeake Bay Preservation boards approved minutes from the Aug. 5, 2024 meeting by a 4–0 vote. Staff announced that Archer Ruffin will submit an application to install a concrete swimming pool along the James River; that application is expected at the boards’ December meeting.
Board member E. Van Pearce (referred to in the record as Mr. Pearce/Pierce) asked staff for more legible maps for future meetings. Planning Director Gary Mitchell encouraged attendees to complete the county’s Comprehensive Plan survey. No public comments were recorded at the end of the meeting. The boards adjourned at 7:07 P.M.; the next meeting is scheduled for Dec. 2, 2024 at 6:00 P.M.
