Parker County leaders convened Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, and announced they would move into an executive session at 9:00 a.m. to consider a real-estate matter in Mineral Wells and a personnel matter in the fire marshal’s office, the chair said. "Let the record show it is 9AM," the chair stated as the meeting opened.
The court returned from executive session at 10:13 a.m. and the chair announced the body would take no action on either agenda item. "We will take no action," the chair said regarding the real-estate matter and later reiterated the same outcome for the personnel item. The meeting was recorded as adjourning at 10:14 a.m.
