Court authorizes server-room controls and LED lighting purchases for county facilities

Claire Worman of purchasing introduced a Johnson Controls Building Solutions LLC quote and addendum to install a DAB controller and CBM 3050 controls for a newly configured second-floor IT server room; the court authorized the county judge to sign the quote and addendum. Facilities staff explained the controller will allow temperature control and cooling for the new IT closet.
The court also approved an addendum with Border States for replacement LED wall-pack lights for LCDC. Facilities staff said existing lights are approaching the end of their useful life—becoming dimmer and narrowing their radius—so the replacement will restore coverage and longevity.
Both motions carried on voice votes with no recorded opposition.
