Commissioners approve Rincon Water Supply permits to upsizeline capacity for Lennar Sinton Ranch

County Engineer John Hernandez presented engineering plans from Rincon Water Supply Corporation and said the drawings comply with the county’s utility-accommodation policy. Art Smith, representing Rincon, said the permits will upsize existing lines and add capacity to ensure current customers can be served while the Lennar Sinton Ranch subdivision proceeds.
Smith explained most work will occur in private easements and will be bored under roadways where necessary; he said the primary purpose is to preserve service for Rincon’s existing customers while accommodating the new development. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the permits without further modification.
