The resolution read into the record praised county employees across departments for their “professionalism, integrity, and service” and invited residents to join in honoring those public servants. The court invited HR staff to the dais to be recognized; Chair (presiding officer) asked the room to stand in appreciation.
The proclamation was moved and seconded by commissioners and carried without opposition. Court members also noted plans to light the courthouse green for a separate mental-health awareness observance in early May.
The resolution passed by unanimous voice vote. The court recessed briefly to take a group photograph with the recognized employees.
