Highway Superintendent John Pluimer presented several agreements and notices and the commissioners approved each item. The board authorized BSM Group to work in the right-of-way on 0670 W and 300 S to install fiber optic cable; they approved Panhandle Eastern Division to cross 300 W to replace a pipe (work expected the first week of June for about two weeks); and they allowed Miller Pipeline to move a gas line from Eaton to 100 S and work in the right-of-way. Each motion carried on unanimous votes.
Pluimer also announced that Leeward/White Construction will close 300 S between 400 E and 500 E at 10:00 a.m. that day for approximately two to three hours to allow a crane crossing. Commissioners discussed the Spring Street Bridge status and were told a gas line must be removed before Hoosier Pride can begin work; staff said 3M needs notification as part of coordination.
