Commission approves routine invoices; member seeks sales-tax correction on one bill

The Cass County Redevelopment Commission voted to approve routine invoices and bond payments presented by staff. "That is all the invoices that I have," staff said, listing amounts and vendor names. Committee member (speaker 4) moved "to approve them minus that sales tax," and the motion was seconded; Chair (speaker 1) called for a voice vote and the motion passed. Staff acknowledged the sales-tax discrepancy on a $9,488 Water Solutions invoice and said they would seek reimbursement: "I will make sure we get that reimbursed," staff said.
