A staff member told the board crews returned to work on Jones Ditch at River Properties after outlets were broken and tiles were plugged by trees. “We went and put 15 foot in there,” the staff member said, and described clearing blockages and installing tile to address the wet spot.
The staff member also said a licensed trapper removed a beaver dam on the Tom Rust property and that the county called an excavator to inspect and assist. Committee members confirmed the beavers were removed and discussed follow-up monitoring; no formal action was taken during the meeting.
