Commissioner floats regional transportation taxing authority idea to boost rural project funding

"I feel like it's the right thing to do," the commissioner said, while acknowledging the need for broader support and further study.
Staff and other commissioners agreed the idea warrants further discussion and that the Planning Commission member would continue to gather information for a future conversation.
