“I’m really disappointed that, county council or the members on this board, did not bring that to our attention or to have the opportunity to vote on it … especially since it's in the by laws,” the member said, urging that the board be provided the documents and an opportunity to review and vote on detention-related contracts.
The Chair asked that the issue be placed on a future agenda so the board can handle the matter; staff also indicated they would ensure necessary items are added to upcoming agendas.
