"They just cut them down the lowest because when you're coming ... you couldn't see the stop sign," Speaker 4 said, describing how crews trimmed limbs to restore visibility. Commissioners discussed whether TxDOT could lower the speed limit and the constraints when property owners object to third-party trimming. The lieutenant said crews will prioritize encroachments that present safety concerns and return later to address other vegetation issues.
