Potter County election totals: all 17 propositions passed; county staff read detailed precinct counts

Elections staff presented the cumulative and precinct-by-precinct reports to the Potter County Commissioner's Court and read the vote totals for all 17 propositions that appeared on the Nov. 4 ballot. Christy told commissioners the reports had been compiled into a spreadsheet to make matching the cumulative totals easier.
Christy said, "This is just a good summary of all 17 propositions, and they all passed, in Potter County as well as in the state." She then read individual totals for each proposition, including examples such as Proposition 1 (3,814 for, 1,760 against, 55 undervotes) and Proposition 10 (4,978 for, 586 against, 65 undervotes). The reading covered propositions 1 through 17 with vote-for, vote-against and undervote counts recorded for the county.
Staff explained undervotes are ballots where voters chose to vote on some items and not others, and commissioners had no additional questions about the tallies. The cumulative report will be posted as part of the official canvass documentation.
