Munson told the court he started making bags while living as a missionary in Mexico and later established a factory there. "We are excited to have this be our permanent home... we will be in our new place, March of 2025," Munson said, adding the company wanted a destination that was "real, natural and unassuming." The presentation noted Saddleback Leather’s placements in marketing textbooks and a Tom Clancy novel, awards from the American Advertising Federation, and corporate commissions including gifts for Major League Baseball and the Texas Rangers. Commissioners thanked Munson and welcomed the company’s presence in Parker County.
