Councilor Rio Campos moved to approve the resolution and a councilor seconded; the motion carried with ayes. Greg told the council staff hopes to hold pre‑construction meetings and possibly begin demolition before the end of the year, with completion anticipated by May. The council’s approval funds lighting and other amenities; staff will schedule pre‑construction coordination with the contractor and keep the council updated on timelines and any potential schedule changes.
