The Rogue River School District 35 board opened its regular meeting and approved several personnel motions on routine consent items. In a wider consent package the board approved recommended 2025–26 contract renewals, non-renewals and extensions for elementary schools, the district senior high, South Valley Academies and administrators. The chair initiated each motion and members recorded affirmative votes. The board also moved to "adopt the December 2024 policy updates along with the I AJ," including an AI-related policy referenced in the packet.
Board members did not request extended discussion on the personnel or contract items and voted on them by roll call. The consent approvals were presented as routine business and the meeting proceeded to program reports and presentations. The board later voted to recognize Southern Oregon Head Start as the district's recommended preschool provider from RFP #24-25-02.
