Union County elections office outlines key 2026 dates including April L&A testing and May primary

At the Jan. 12 meeting, Union County Elections staff reviewed key dates for the 2026 election cycle and urged voters to check the county’s online calendar for any changes.
Elections staff said Logic and Accuracy testing for the May primary will occur April 22 and 23 at the Elections Center beginning at 9 a.m.; early voting is scheduled from Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 15, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. at the Elections Center; and the General Primary Election date is Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at all precincts. Stevens directed the audience to both the Board of Registrars website and the county election web pages for an up-to-date listing of meeting and election dates.
The board emphasized that notices and any changes would be posted on the Elections Center website and that voters should check those pages for cancellations or updates.
