The board also approved a Ready grant match award of $250,000 toward a France Park gatehouse construction project (project estimate $650,000) and authorized contracts for architectural, surveying and site design work to support the public match. In infrastructure business, commissioners approved a task order with USI for up to $15,000 to prepare contract documents for repair of timber Bridge 157, approved two separate contract packages for countywide sign replacement (north half $128,800; south half $125,000) with a combined local share of about $25,000, and approved a countywide bridge inspection contract for 2027–2030 with a total of $487,619.40 (local share estimated up to ~$97,500).
