Court trims and reassigns multiple FY2025 line items in first revision pass

Commissioners also moved to keep certain maintenance and capital outlays and to place other items on a revision sheet for the second draft.
The judge emphasized a conservative stance on the tax rate and asked staff to produce an updated budget packet quickly. Commissioner Stacy said staff would prepare a second draft showing the chosen transfers and the top-of-scale pay options discussed; the court agreed to reconvene on Sept. 10 to vote on the revised draft.
