Commissioners accept $52,606 donation of patient-transport UTV for Potter County Fire Department

The Potter County Commissioners Court on Jan. 27 accepted a donated patient-transport utility terrain vehicle (UTV) for the county fire department from the 100 Club.
Suzanne, a representative of the 100 Club, told the court the group's board approved the award and presented a check. "On behalf of our board of directors and all of our several 100 members of the 100 Club, we have a check in the amount of $52,606.69," Suzanne said. The judge moved that the county accept the vehicle into county assets and place it on the county insurance schedule; the motion passed 5–0.
Fire department staff explained the county had a critical need for a replacement UTV after recent equipment failures and that the vehicle was not budgeted. Commissioners thanked the 100 Club and noted the donation will support patient transport in response and rescue operations. The vehicle will be added to the county's asset inventory and insured through the appropriate county fund.
